1. You're not late...I still haven't read "Genevieve" yet. I got up to the part when her and her husband were going down south because someone died. The hotel part with the girl on the phone with her boyfriend talking about a Uhaul truck had me confused. 1921926 It is a bit slow but the information that you get at the beginning and toward the middle is good to know. If you are ever bored, try to stick it out. 1922847 I'm going to try again....I'll start from the begining.
2. ELH books are the same you read one you read them all......this one had a few twists. I'm still working on Genevieve.
3. I'll try it again.....Thanks

6. "I Say A Little Prayer" by E Lynn Harris or "Genevieve" by Eric Jerome Dickey? I have both and don't know which I want to read first.

Notorious C.O.P.

Yep here he is....he's a retired cop! Derrick Parker wasn’t just any police officer in the New York Police Department. He was the Hip Hop Cop, who was put on assignment to monitor and keep tab on all of moves that MCs in the city were making. Now, the retired hip hop cop is telling all via his Black and Blue: Legends of the Hip Hop Cop DVD and impending book, the Notorious C.O.P.. Woop Woop, Vibe.com hears da sound of police.

I went to the book store at lunch today and saw that book. I picked it up and everything but I didn't buy it. It's not a PI it's actually a police office that wrote the book...at least that's what I think I read on the cover.
9. I read it and it was a VERY good book. I couldn't put it down. Matter of fact, I was meaning to check out Black Expressions to see if I could find more books by that author. 923145 Million dollar divorce is worth the read. 925118 It sure is worth the read 928260 Loved it!!!!
10. How is it....I started it but put it down. Not because it was boring but because I had other things I wanted to read.
11. Did anyone else hear about free tuition for the first semester for LA college students? I caught the tail end of it.
12. The people that left NO before Katrina and went to Houston are now being turned away from the Astrodome. They're being told it's for the people coming from the Superdome only.
