Anyone read.....

You're not late...I still haven't read "Genevieve" yet. I got up to the part when her and her husband were going down south because someone died. The hotel part with the girl on the phone with her boyfriend talking about a Uhaul truck had me confused. 1921926 It is a bit slow but the information that you get at the beginning and toward the middle is good to know. If you are ever bored, try to stick it out. I know I'm late but I read Genevieve last year...well now it would be 2 years ago (05'). Anyway, I liked the book, You're right it's a bit slow in the beginning but it was a good 'take your time' kind of book. It's not a book you read in one sitting but it keeps your attention enough to keep you interested.
3. :OK!: ...the book started off kinda slow but it was a good setup for the second half. I actually liked this book. I'm reading G Spot now...another urban erotica. I really didn't want to read this book but it's been sitting in my apartment forever. It's not bad at all...it's like all the others...young girl hooks up with a drug dealer and tries to leave. I'm kind of afraid to turn the page b/c I just know what's going to happen. Just4, I read Threesome, and didn't really like it. The main character annoyed the hell out of me for some reason. Nervous by Zane was a pretty good book for anyone who needs a book to read next.
4. I read it and it was a VERY good book. I couldn't put it down. Matter of fact, I was meaning to check out Black Expressions to see if I could find more books by that author. 923145 Million dollar divorce is worth the read. 925118 It sure is worth the read 928260 Loved it!!!! 1017001 I just finished reading it. :faint:I had the book for about a month after ya'll recommended it but never picked it up until today. Absolutely loved it...from the first page to the last...a real page turner!
5. :OK!: ...I'm still in a state of shock over this whole thing.
6. I read it and it was a VERY good book. I couldn't put it down. Matter of fact, I was meaning to check out Black Expressions to see if I could find more books by that author. 923145 Then I'm definitely getting the book.
7. Who read Million Dollar Divorce? I know someone on this board mentioned it but I don't remember who. How was it? I want to order the book but I wanna hear some opinions first. I just finished reading Slick by Brenda Hampton. It was pretty good and it only took a day to read. My friend recommended Harlem Girl Lost. It seems people are raving about this book so I'm going to get it but I want to get Million Dollar Divorce with it.

The Criss Cross

yeah...some of the old characters from LLL pop up in the Criss Cross so you wanna get a feel for the characters from LLL before you can really truly appreciate The Criss Cross.
9. I read Liar's Game and you're right it was just ok. I was a little dissappointed.

The Criss Cross

Bliss, you have LLL? You're in for a doozy. That book was so good. After LLL, you'll be ready for The Criss Cross.
