15. because whole lifetimes of homes and memories are about to be lost. they'd rather go down with it. my grandmother has a two floor house and she's still there. 951371 That's understandable but I am talking about the people who are standing on Borbon Street arguing with the newscasters about the storm. How can you argue with someone about how intense the storm is when they are trained to track storms? That guy was upsetting me. He insisted that the newscasters were wrong and that the hurricane is a category 3. How can you sit there and argue about something like that. Then the newscaster was like "I pray that it reduces to a category 3 but if it comes to land as a cat 5 like we are predicting the damage will be deadly." Then dude starts to argue talking about "the city of New Orleans can handle it, we have levis and water pumps to handle even a category 5 storm so I am waiting it out...I'm not worried." I just feel like it isn't wise to argue about something like that. They've already reported that if it floods the way they've predicted it to flood the levis will not be able to keep the water from flooding the city...and then the aftermath people will have to deal with from snake bites, alligators etc....it's just a hazardous condition all around. 951388 OH NO! Not the Alligators and Snakes!
